The Art of Waiting

Waiting is about the transience of time. There are many reasons and many ways to wait, for someone to come, for something to happen, for something to end or begin. Waiting for the bus or waiting for enlightenment. Waiting as a moment with ourselves.

It takes patience to wait for that particular moment when movement, expression and meaning come together.

While we wait, changes take place, small gestures, a different posture, transitional actions, things appear or disappear in the field of vision.

That is why I work with diptichons that show inner or outer changes. In observation, the perception of time emerges.
